Weather is bad, isn't it?

I'm not Japanese
Nihon-jin ja arimasen

I'm American:
Watashi wa engo-jin desu

And you? (end of sentence)
anata wa?

anata wa amerika-jin desu

First day of Japanese

So last summer I tried to learn Japanese but gave up after being frustrated because I didn't know how the words looked and seeing it is almost everything for me.  I've started this blog to not only track my progress but also to assist my cognition and memorization by having somewhere to physically manifest my learnings after forcing myself to remember what I have learned earlier that day.  Here we go
