First day of Japanese

So last summer I tried to learn Japanese but gave up after being frustrated because I didn't know how the words looked and seeing it is almost everything for me.  I've started this blog to not only track my progress but also to assist my cognition and memorization by having somewhere to physically manifest my learnings after forcing myself to remember what I have learned earlier that day.  Here we go

To make anything a question:
ka (at the end)

A little:
sukoshi

Is/are:
desu

Good morning:
Ohayou gozaimasu

Goodbye:
sayouara

See you later:
Ja mata

Good afternoon:
konnichi wa

Don't you?  Isn't it?  Aren't you?:
ne

Thank you:
arigatou

Make things polite:
gozaimasu

Skilled:
jouzu

Not skilled:
jouzu ja arimasen

The weather is nice:?
ii otenki desu ne?
